The Yeti Nano boasts a clever internal knob that controls microphone gain, headphone volumes, and the mute function. On the rear of the microphone, the polar pattern selector allows you to convert between Cardioid and Omni modes. Cardioid mode captures what’s in front of the mic, resulting in a concentrated sound that’s great for streaming vocals and recording acoustic instruments. When utilizing it in a conference or band practice, utilize Omni mode to easily pick up the whole room. Regardless of the polar pattern, the Yeti Nano records it all at an astounding 24-bit/48kHz audio resolution.
