*Job Summary:* We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Retail Merchandiser to join our team. The Merchandiser will be responsible for ensuring that our wines and spirits are attractively displayed in retail settings, maintaining inventory, and promoting our brand to maximize sales. This role involves regular travel to various retail locations, working closely with store managers, and providing exceptional customer service. *Key Responsibilities:* 1. *Product Display and Placement:* - Ensure that products are prominently displayed in retail stores. - Implement and maintain attractive product displays and promotional materials. - Rotate stock to ensure freshness and minimize spoilage. 2. *Inventory Management:* - Monitor inventory levels and ensure that shelves are adequately stocked. - Coordinate with store managers and warehouse staff to manage product deliveries and returns. - Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies. 3. *Sales and Promotion:* - Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail store staff and management. - Educate retail staff about our products, features, and benefits. - Plan and execute in-store promotions and tastings to drive sales. - Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform sales strategies. 4. *Brand Representation:* - Serve as a brand ambassador, embodying the company’s values and mission. - Provide excellent customer service and address any customer inquiries or issues. - Participate in industry events and trade shows as required. 5. *Reporting and Administration:* - Maintain accurate records of merchandising activities, sales data, and customer feedback. - Prepare and submit daily reports on merchandising activities and market conditions. - Collaborate with the sales team to develop and refine merchandising strategies. *Qualifications:* - High school diploma or equivalent - Proven experience in merchandising, preferably within the beverage indsutry. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to lift and carry boxes of wine (up to 16 Kgs). - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. *Application Process:* Interested candidates should submit their resume and a cover letter detailing their relevant experience and interest in the position to [redacted email address]
