Reports to: Retail Manager
Role Summary: Prepare and present charcuterie boards and guide customers in product selection.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble charcuterie boards for lounge and delivery orders.
• Engage with customers to explain product origins, pairings, and serving methods, through verbal communication and informational labels.
• Work alongside the Sommelier to suggest and curate pairings between charcuterie boards and alcohol, as well as creating bundles for delivery and in store sales.
• Work alongside the Sandwich prep staff for prior setup of charcuterie and cheese slices.
• Communicate effectively with the sommelier through digital database and inform him of the clients’ preferences in charcuterie.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock organization in charcuterie display.
Qualifications:
• 1+ year in food retail or hospitality.
• Basic knowledge of cured meats and cheeses is a must.
• Basic knowledge of using relevant equipment for charcuterie cutting and slicing is a must.
• Customer service and storytelling skills.
Salary Range: $800 - $1,200 USD (Net) + Commission (negotiable)
