Description
The florist is responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements, maintaining an inventory of fresh flowers and plants, and providing exceptional customer service to meet clients’ needs for special occasions, events, or everyday purchases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, funerals, holidays, and corporate events.
• Consult with customers to understand their preferences and provide recommendations.
• Care for and maintain fresh flowers, plants, and foliage to ensure quality.
• Manage inventory, including ordering flowers, plants, and supplies.
• Wrap and package floral arrangements for delivery or pickup.
• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and presentable.
• Operate the cash register, process payments, and manage sales transactions.
• Coordinate and schedule flower deliveries.
• Stay updated on floral design trends and techniques.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Creative eye for floral design and color combinations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of flower and plant care.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Experience in floral design is preferred but not required.
• Physical stamina to stand for long hours and handle flowers/plants.
